Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: February 14, 2026
Conveyra believes that buying or selling a home should be accessible to everyone. We are committed to providing a website that is usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. This is not a checkbox for us — it is a core part of how we build.
Standards We Follow
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines are developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and are the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility.
WCAG 2.1 AA covers four principles — content must be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. Here is how we apply each:
Perceivable
All non-text content has text alternatives. Color is never the sole means of conveying information. Content adapts to different screen sizes without losing meaning.
Operable
Every feature works with keyboard navigation alone. Skip-to-content links are available on every page. No content causes seizures or physical reactions.
Understandable
Pages behave predictably. Form inputs have clear labels and error messages. Language is set at the page level for screen readers.
Robust
Semantic HTML throughout. ARIA attributes where needed. Compatible with current assistive technologies including screen readers, magnifiers, and voice control.
Current Status
Actively Targeting WCAG 2.1 AA
We run Google Lighthouse accessibility audits on every page and work to maintain high scores. Automated testing catches many issues, but it does not replace manual testing with assistive technology — which we also perform regularly.
We use a combination of automated tools (Lighthouse) and manual testing with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) to evaluate our accessibility. We aim to test every new feature before release.
What We Build Into Every Page
- Skip-to-content link on every page for keyboard users
- Semantic HTML elements (headings, landmarks, lists) for screen reader navigation
- Sufficient color contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text)
- Visible focus indicators for all interactive elements
- Responsive design that reflows at up to 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling
- Form inputs with associated labels and descriptive error messages
- Alt text for all meaningful images
- No content that flashes more than three times per second
Known Limitations
We are transparent about areas where we are still improving. The following limitations are known and actively being addressed:
- The savings calculator slider on our home page may not announce intermediate values to all screen readers. We provide the calculated result as live text below the slider.
- Some third-party embedded content (e.g., payment processing forms via Stripe) may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control. We work with vendors who share our accessibility commitment.
- PDF inspection reports are generated by third-party inspectors and may not meet our accessibility standards. We are working to provide HTML alternatives.
Report an Accessibility Issue
If you encounter a barrier on our site, we want to hear about it. Your feedback helps us improve the experience for everyone.
Contact us about accessibility:
- Email: [email protected]
- Response time: We aim to respond within 2 business days and resolve issues within 10 business days.
When reporting an issue, please include the page URL, a description of the problem, the assistive technology you were using (if applicable), and your preferred contact method. This helps us reproduce and fix the issue faster.
Ongoing Efforts
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We continuously work to improve through:
- Accessibility review as part of our development process for every new feature
- Regular automated scans and manual audits
- Training for our team on inclusive design and assistive technology
- Monitoring industry best practices and evolving WCAG standards
- Planning for Spanish-language accessibility to serve the Austin community
Compatibility
Conveyra is designed to be compatible with:
- Recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
- Screen readers (NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS/iOS, TalkBack on Android)
- Browser zoom up to 400%
- Operating system high-contrast modes
